Good morning. good afternoon, and good evening. Let’s look at Romans 4:16-21, stating:
16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Have you ever heard the term, “Favor isn’t fair”? Well Faith in God Almighty is the reason for the seemingly unfairness of this term. If you truly have faith in God Most High you are ahead of others who do not. Hence the term favor. For we are only following the prerequisite for El Elyon to move on our behalf. It’s not that The God of Heaven desires to do more for some and not so much for others, but it is simply faith and belief in him. Abraham believed that God would do exactly what he had spoken. Please take notice of the reason his Faith grew. Abraham’s Faith grew as a result of not considering the things that were a part of his environment (in his case the lack of his and her body’s abilities.) Intimating that the less we look at the agents of help on this physical plain of existence to receive the promises of God and more to the Spirit, our Faith multiplies exponentially. In addition, Abraham did not waiver. He refused to acknowledge and would not consider anything juxtaposed to what God had already said to him. (That’s the key). Since Abraham was appointed to be our father in (v17) our relationship with him is legal and binding through the exact same faith he has toward/in God to be called “The father of many nations.” What does this mean for those of us who believe. It means the promise and all that God gave to Abraham is available to us.
It all turns upon faith. So, stop looking around to see who else will come to our assistance for our faith in God is all we need. For God is faithful and reliable and upon him should we only depend.
Have a blessed day.
Much Love,
