Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening Saints.
What does it take to trust in the Lord? Do the odds, as the world tends to lean toward for a healthy outcome, have to be favorable for you to trust in God The Father? Do statistics play a role in determining whether or not you will trust IN the Lord? What does it take? What is required for you to “lean on”, “trust in”, and “adhere to” The LORD GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC, and JACOB? Does the amount of people that are for you matter? Do you need so many likes before you are permitted to trust in The GOD of HEAVEN?
First it will require an undivided, conscious effort to focus only upon The Lord. See Matthew 6:22: The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
We must next understand the power of God’s word. Irrespective of what you are intending to do, you must respect the power of THE WORD. Hear Isaiah 55:11 which states: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The word will never return without succeeding in the task that it was given. Why not? Because The Word of God Almighty is ALL POWERFUL. (Hence the name. . . GOD ALMIGHTY).
You must realize that when the word is spoken, (Rhema - the spoken word of God), that is The Father's purpose. See Isaiah 14:24: The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand. God’s spoken word is his declaration. His sworn oath that he will uphold what he has spoken ….so says The Cross of Jesus Christ. .. . . .Remember Hebrews 6:13: For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself. His word is his purpose and that purpose extends throughout the entire world. Isaiah 14:26: This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. The outstretched arm of the Lord is paramount for the believer to understand. It must necessarily be accepted every day in the born- again-child-of-God-Most-High’s-life.
Next, when HIS hand is stretched out it cannot be nullified nor placed on disregard. Isaiah 14:27: For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back? God will do what he said. He is only his word. Let that simmer for a second and say it again. “He is only His very own Word”, what are you saying preacher? IT HAS TO HAPPEN!
Remember - The scriptures cannot be broken (John 10:35b) and the scriptures must be fulfilled (Mark14:49) and know without a doubt that HE can never lie (Hebrews 6:18, Numbers 23:19, 1 Samuel 15:29).
Now go and make slaves of all your problems. For you my family, serve a risen savior.
